Re: Rackmounted preamps

Why does he think you need a pre amp? That amp has a pre amp built it with lots of tonal options

Thanks for that review. I'd love to hear it. Hopefully the next time I'm in Napier you're doing a gig

Re: New Amp Day.

Looks sweet and that's a great weight/watt ratio, can you tell us a bit more about its tone? I've never heard of that brand before but I used to have a Polish bass and it too was top shelf. Seems like Poland delivers. I don't think I've seen any barefaced cabs in NZ, I love the form factor, can you ...

Re: Does anyone use a separate / external EQ pedal?

So there are two issues going on here. 1. You are not clear enough for the drummer. He does realise bass amps sound very different from beside the amp to out front, eh? Maybe you could try setting up you amp as a side fill so it's at the side of the stage facing in. That way he will hear all the hig...

I'm not in the market but it looks like a beautiful bass in great condition. I hope you don't drop the price because as you said, it's a fair price and I'm sure if you're patient you'll find the right buyer

Re: What's your rig?

Well I sold the sonic bass above (wife wouldn't let me have 2 basses unfortunately) and after Christmas I bought a Fender Rumble 500 V3 2x10 Bass Combo. photos are just from the web Hands down it is the best and lightest amp I've ever had.... only weighs 17kgs and the sound from the amp is amazing....

I can see why! I've never heard of that game but I'm guessing the inverters of Broforce have

Re: Rockshop website survey ...

Done, also Done! I didn't put it on the survey, but a really useful figure would be a large 'panic' button on every page that you could hit to bring up the image of a spreadsheet - useful when our significant others walk into room and find us looking at more expensive music gear Ha ha ha. Until then...

Re: Solid state heads - GK or Ampeg? (or SWR?)

If you liked the sound of your last rig going with a GK head might be your best bet. There is a 700rb with a Warwick 6x10 on trade me that is slightly above your budget (or is thee $800 budget just for the head)? http://www.trademe.co.nz/music-instruments/instruments/guitar-bass/bass-amps/auction-10...
