Re: Samick Baby Bass setup?

Interesting nobody has replied here, seems strange.
Anyway a follow up. I managed to sort this out and now have a great fun mini bass.
It's a P bass the size of a bass ukulele. If I can borrow a router I may rout out a space for the spare J pickup I have one day.

It had custom set of strings .80, .60, .40, .20. These were fairly hard to get, loose and never sounded resonant and lush like bass should. After so...

Bass guitar mod

Hi all I have an Aria 5 String active bass. I was thinking of adding in a push-pull volume pot so it will run passive if the battery goes flat. 1. Is this a good idea to have done? 2. Will the passive circuit still have a tone built in? 3. How should I do it. Any diagrams etc to follow or should I t...

Finger Streaching:- One finger per fret

When playing bass I still find, after 2 or more years of playing, it hard to make one finger per fret. My fingers don't seem to streach so one finger is just behind each fret. I always find when I add the next finger the previous one(s) seem to move out of position. Any tips to get fingers to stretc...

Amp Setup

I like my Roland Cube 20XL Bass amp. This is a 20w bass amp with Rolands XL feature which makes tbis amp sound bigger than 20w. It has a great set of features and I like the built in effects it has. I want to use it on stage as the effects. As this is a small amp I would like to know how to plug thi...

Re: Looking for a stage amp

Hi Mickey Roland amps have always been great quality from my experience so you can't go wrong. As an alternative, that could offer you a lot more grunt yet portability.... I just purchased an Ashdown 1x12" + horn 250watt lightweight cab from music planet for use in our church. They are currently on...

If the song is not available need to go on line to the website to upload them yourself. It's a great ...
