I just found that doing the dishes gets ya hands ready pretty sweet, well In my case with dodgy joints it does.

Who'd thunk that something so mundane and sucky would be beneficial? :? Sshhh don't tell the wife tho. :|

Ha ha ... hope my Mrs doesn't read this.
I can see how it would work to loosen them up.
Sunlight or Palmolive?

Palmolive seems to work best for me.

"Your soaking in it!" ahh one of the best cheesy lines from the '80's

Sheri's nails on high street, I really need to find somewhere to get a good peticure though, she's just too damn rough. lmao

my rhythm gat/singer (rather ex band mate...i quit) has his nails done for every gig... gets like fake ones built up for strumming... and gets lil designs painted on em  like dope leaves, and rasta designs.

lol
Now that's sad... typical guitarists! ;-)
But I do like my nails really short when playing (I play fingered 99% of the time with 4 fingers on right hand)... I know some people use them like a pick or for strumming etc. If I forget to trim em up... You'll find me busily chewing on them all before the gig... you could be forgiven for thinking it's nerves.
