Instrumental rock/metal called concrete donkey (after the worms 2 secret weapon...) Haven't got much to show for ourselves as we're very new but hitting the studio this week to record some stuff

A couple of our guys know some of the guys who were putting the gig together so they asked us but we couldn't make the date or we would have been all over it. Also in the same class at uni as Callum gentleman, he does some good work that guy

I can see why.

Yeah the dog's doing what dogs do huh

Would I be right in thinking he's done some serious internal mic'ing of bass to get all those percussive sounds so well?

I dont think so. I can get some pretty good thumps from the body of my bass. I think one mic in the room would catch that. One stage would be a different story.

Finally got around to editing old videos into individual songs!!

Here is my band playing an original entitled "Weapon of ultimate mass destruction" in tauranga last year. Is it rock? Is it metal? I think it's rockmetal...

Somehow I end up making bass videos whenever I'm on holiday... Playing around with the loop pedal on a janek gwizdala tune. Didn't really have a plan for the end, and it shows!

Robin Thicke Blurred Lines (rock remix!)

Post by hestan » Sun Jun 22, 2014 10:52 pm

Hi guys,

Hope you enjoy this - a fresh take on Robbin Thicke's blurred lines. Mainly from the now no longer "Stephen Ward" musical band in London. To quote "Amadeus" - 'too many notes' in the best possible taste. :)
