Greetings all from BPNZ newbie ...

Post by NZRS-Dave » Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:11 pm

Hi all,

My names Dave Batterbury and I work for the NZ Rockshops as the e-Commerce Manager and Rockshop Online Manager. No doubt, some of you will know of me already (poor people, I can only apologise)

I've been lurking around the NZ Guitars forum for a while now and have been meaning to come here for awhile, since first and foremost, I am a bass player. However, I tend to get my my bad 80's shred on when I put my guitar on.

My handle is NZRS-Dave which is the same as it is over on NZ Guitars - and the NZRS stand for New Zealand Rockshops. I use that because I don't think anyone would appreciate me hiding who I work for; and also because I love the company I work for and have been there for over 10 years.

I'm not here to sell anything, more just to join in the camaderie that I have found over at NZG.

But since I work for the Rockshop ... if you have any RS related questions, let me know. Of course if you need a deal on something, I might be able to help. If you have a problem, likewise let me know.

In the mean time ... I just posted about a Meet & Greet with Tony Levin at our New Plymouth store on 12th August 2010 between 12-2pm. It's free and in conjunction with Ernieball Musicman whilst Tony is here for G-TARnaki.

Hey Dave,
Good to see you...
We have corresponded before over on the other site too.

I'm not one to blow smoke up anyone arse, and I have had some issues with RS in the past (which we did speak about over on NZG), but I have to say that in the last few months I have been dealing with Matt W and Hamish and they have been first class.

I also have a little bit to do with the Auckland Blues Club, we also be keen to hear of anything the RS can help us out with.

Cheers
Sean

PM'd Chris.

Good to see you too, Sean.

Yep, I know we don't always get it right ... but we do try and I love the way we do our best to put things right.
