Hola, new bassist in Welly.

Post by FLuKE » Wed Jan 25, 2012 6:06 pm

Hi guys,

I've just come back from 6 months in Mexico where I was taking bass lessons to help pass the time. I chose bass as I have friends who drum and play guitar therefore hopefully we can muck around a little and jam with a few beers. Also I don't like to be the centre of attention so it suits me better. As for playing experience I can fumble out around 15 - 20 basic songs, but definately have the drive to keep learning at this stage.

I've just ordered an ESP Ltd f-5E basically because I think the thing looks stunning and couldn't find a bad review on it. Any advice on an amp around the $500 - $1000 mark to match with it would be appreciated.

Other interests include motorbiking, bodybuilding and getting my geek on with computer games.

I look forward to leeching your knowledge =]

Luke.

Welcome aboard,Luke.

Funny the not being the centre of attention thing you mention. That is one of the things I love about playing bass.
