SPAM Posts

Post by beagle » Sat Jan 27, 2007 8:13 am

Hi all
The site is getting quite a few SPAM attacks from automated spam robots which is why you might see the odd dodgy posts. The moderators will be deleting them as soon as they see them.
I'm also looking into antispam mods for the site at the mo.

What you been up to down there Dan?

Sorry for all the message update notifications people.
Getting loads of spam attacks currently and the odd one signs up and places random posts.
We're removing them as soon as we find em.

Yeah thanks for that. I've noticed you fellas have been getting rid of a few while I haven't been around.
I have the ability to remove the member account and all their posts in one go so it's fairly easy for me to do. Not sure if you have that ability.

It is awesome when you delete their account while they are in the process of spamming. I love that!
