Eagles tribute.

Hahahaha... we did an Eagles show last night at the Cabana. We had two rehearsals, and we're all pretty competent longtime musicians. We had five people doing vox and harmonies, including all those very high harmonies, plus congas and mandolin as well as the usual band lineup. I've played Eagles songs for years in various bands, but last night brought it home to me how deceptively tricky their songs are. OK, we were deliberately trying to copy their sound exactly.... well let me tell you it aint easy. It's the subtle little things that you only hear when you isolate any one instrument. For a good vocal workout, listen to their harmonies on Seven Bridges Road.......

Oh they're so special. Nailing that is damn near impossible. Even live, The Eagles get it bang on.
