.
Pro Bass Lessons - Professional Music Tuition for the Aspiring Bass Player

I am a professional bass player and music educator situated in Mt Eden, Auckland. In 2004 I established Pro Bass Lessons with the aim of setting a new standard in private music tuition for the bass guitar in New Zealand. I provide high quality personalized music tuition catering to bass players of all ages and abilities, from gigging professionals through to absolute beginners.

I have mentored the bass players in some of New Zealand’s finest bands including The Veils, Cut Off Your Hands, David Dallas, Great North, Sherpa, Dawn of Azazel and The Earlybirds as well as helping many young bassists develop the skill set necessary to succeed at jazz school.

Regardless of your current ability or aspirations I can help you take meaningful steps toward realizing your musical goals. For more information please visit http://www.probasslessons.com

Yet my guitar is tuned fine

Post by marena » Sat May 31, 2008 5:18 pm

My friend played an E chord. And I played one...but mine didn’t sound anything like the way his was played...Yet my guitar is tuned fine...He was just using an amp although his was bigger...Why doesn’t mine sound like his...His sounded more like a song..And he said banging out to an E chord is part of the fun of playing guitar. Yet I can do that because I don’t get the same sound he does. Can someone help me?

perhaps your mate with the "bigger" set up has more balls to his tone. and that may make a difference , but what do they say ... "its all in the technique" .
well thats what guys with small amps say anyway
