Pickups

Post by Shaeve » Mon Nov 22, 2010 6:42 pm

I am looking at putting a MM pickup in or a twin J instead of a single J into my bass

I need to info on single pickups and preamps

I liked the look of the Seymour Duncan SMB4DS Bass Guitar Pickup and Preamp

anyone got any alternatives or can reccomend a preamp to go with the Delano DJC 4 HE - 4 String Twin Jazz Pickup

I have a Nordstrand MM and 3-band preamp in stock right now.

The SD pickup is great, but I haven't liked their 2-band preamps that much so far. Haven't tried the 3-band ones, though.

That's what I had on that 35" 5 string you assembled for me.

Fitting would be in the $60-80 range, probably.

I'm not doing refinishing right now, but will get back into it next year.
