almost done . this weekend I recon' . going for a brown stain

Ok ......I have not finished yet , but have put a few coats on it .
A mix of brown stain let it dry then red stain then brown again.
Not sure what I think of it . Been looking at it to much I think .
So any input on what you guys think now would be great.
I am a bit concerned about how some bits of wood are going darker then others
(the bridge and pick up is just sitting there for the pic if it looks weird )

It looks really 'weathered' / vintage. I like it

Hard to tell from the picture really. The wood appears to have plenty of 'character' lines huh.
