Jansen are delighted to invite you along to our nationwide Markbass Master Class, held throughout New Zealand over the coming months. Developed in conjunction with our regional Music Retailers, we are fortunate enough to have Nikola Memedovic Join us!



Niko is a professional bassist and pianist and is the proud endorser of MarkBass in New Zealand. Nikola is scheduled to tour Italy this summer with series of Master Classes and Markbass C linics, and before he leaves, he will perform the Markbass Master Classes in New Zealand sponsored by Jansen – Professional Audio and Lighting. Since arriving in New Zealand Niko has been an active member of Auckland jazz funk fussion scene, performing and recording with some of NZ's best musicians such as Roger Manins, Tony Hopkins, Alberto Santareli, Ron Samsom, Kevin Field, Aaron Coddel, Tim Hopkins, Miguel Fuentes, to name a few...Nikola is currently finishing his solo album that is unique blend of Balkan music of his native Serbia with jazz and Afro beat.

We tried to do one with our Wellington guy but he is snowed under at the moment he can however get any item for you to play with he is in Upper Hutt and can be reached on paul@puresounds.co.nz he has a small showroom let him know what you want to play with

At the moment I have no dedicated retailer in wellington so no-one to protect so the chance of you getting a sharper price is very high

The Chch Markbass seminar on Monday night went off there were 25ish people there and everyone who came really enjoyed the evening and the free beer

Last nights seminar at Gorilla Guitars went really well a Young chap called Michael got up out of the crowd and had a jam with Nikola
They have some interesting stuff there not your run of the mill same old same old
