seriously?

things are getting outta hand a bit with prices for some of this stuff...i know there's all the R&D to claw back and such, but i'm struggling to understand/accept how manufacturers can price these things almost out of the grasp of the average user.

a metal box, resistors, transistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits. i've never got it. :?
i like rickenbackers. and fridges.
