Or you could try Keith Prictor (K P Electronics) on the North Shore.

People always rave about Clarry at 34 Audio, but I've got a feeling he might not do solid state amps.

In Wellington go and see either Mojosound or Weta.

However, I know Mojo do tube stuff but they might avoid solid state.
Weta don't like solid state stuff that look like computer boards inside.

Hey guys...full on newbie here.

I've had my GK 700RB repaired by a guy (Dan) that was a tutor at SAE while I was there, and it's been sweet ever since...think that was probably more of a mates rates thing though. :P

Now it seems one of the speakes in my cab has gone...really doesnt sound too nice. I'm thinking of getting that repaired and selling it so i can get a cab better suited to my head. Any recomendations where I can get this speaker repaired (North Shore)?

Also...any recomendations for a new cab? The head's 4 ohm..and i think it's 700w (350w per channel?)

An idea on the cost of a speaker repair?
