I'd rather use most guitar heads for bass over most bass heads....

Do you mean just for overdriven/distorted tones Timi, or do you mean right across the board?

Across the board, but then again I don't like a lot of guitar heads either. Anything with channel switching usually doesn't interest me.....

Back to drive pedals, I ordered one of these 2 weeks ago and should see it in the next few days...

Arrived yesterday, had a bit of a play at low volume when I got home and it was pretty cool, different yet kinda similar to a hotcake, not quite as much gain though.

Did a quick live demo for a hardcore band last night and took it along. The bass player gave it a go, he and the rest of the band reeeeeally liked it, as did I. I start an album with them this weekend and they are really keen to use it.

Will give some more thoughts once I have some more time with it.
