Arrgh - don't have the right router bits to do the neck pocket or pickup cavity. Bits ordered - now just the wait for them to arrive

Yes... neck pocket done, and ready to do the pickup cavity. Slow progress due to other things on my plate. Will try to post some photos this weekend

Got the router out to make the pickup cavity. The perspex template makes it pretty easy

Top half of body now more or less routed to shape. Bottom half marked out showing what the neck joint will look like. I did bust off a chunk of the lower horn routing the top (now glued back in place), so need to be a little more careful! Need to route a control cavity and sound chamber in the top, and then time to start work on adding a little shape.

Big day today! Glued the front an back panels together. I've routed out the sound chamber and the control cavity. You can see the pencil line around the control cavity where the control plate will cover. I haven't decided if I will recess that yet. I have also drilled the ducts for wires from the pickups into the control cavity, and an earth wire duct from under the bridge to the control cavity.

Starting to look like the body should now!

Thanks Steve. Got some momentum now that the end is in site. Waiting for an order of hardwear bits and pieces now
